Far more important than any working test for our dogs is the health of them.  

The first thing we want to know is the hip score in our dogs.

Sad enough I have had some bad experiences with some dogs I have imported from the country of origin, after they where old enough to have the hip score done, I have had to replace them with pain in my heart because the hip score was not good enough.

In Germany we can do the hip score (test) between 12 and 18 months or on older dogs, we are only allowed to use dogs with a FCI ‘A’ or ‘B’ result , a Dog with a ‘B’ result should only be bred to a dog with a ‘A’ result .

For many years we have used this rule in the breeding program, and the clubs are very strict on this, for this reason we have almost eradicated the bad results on our hip scores.

Since the year 2005 there is also a new rule, which now says that every dog has to have an eye test which has to be done every year.
